Kris Kuksi 101

Hat tip to ZooZoo Mayne for introducing me to the work of artist Kris Kuksi.
Kuksi (b. 1973, Missouri) creates fabulously intricate sculptures using bits of old broken toys, plastic soldiers, miniature engine blocks and all sorts of debris.
Using these trash components he assembles them to chart the rise and fall of religions, civilisations and inevitably, humanity.
In his work we see the God and Goddess of Nature acting impartially, without regard to petty human concerns or beliefs; barely even aware of the life functioning on planet Earth such is its insignificance in the grand scheme of Universal spacetime.
And we see the eventual disintegration of the God and Goddess themselves.
The work is fascinating.
