'Clockwork' - Machinima by spyVspy aeon

spyVspy Aeon is reknowned for his abilities in After Effects.

'Clockwork' is an interesting film on a number of levels, not least of which is that 99% of the film was created in After Effects using a multitude of plug-ins (Shatter, Trapcode Form, Optical Flares, Red Giant Toon It, CC Cylinder, Starglow, etc).

As a filmmaker, part of the fun of the film is trying to spot what effects have been used. On the other hand, part of the upset is spotting a plug-in and realising that I can not afford to buy it!

I enjoyed this film and it was a good way to start a Sunday morning.

  1. Hi, glad you enjoyed :) I had to make this mention cause some of residents asked me if it was really second life. I just wanted to make clear that environment is very modified by video editor program. Basically it's expensive indeed, but as final result for me worth, the rest is learning through tons of tutorials available on internet, and u r a Digital Arts student, in some way you will get much more than a bunch of plugins, cheers
